I initially thought it would be a cock movie but it turned out to be quite enjoyable, better than that one i watched in j2.
Movie: Bewitched
A guy (Will Ferell) unknowingly gets a witch (Nicole Kidman) to act as a witch in his show. He eventually falls for her.
Although not a very new concept in movies, the "rewinding" part was the most memorable. In the show, Nicole rewinded time to remove the effects of the love hex casted on Will as she found the spell too powerful and was overwhelmed by the love shown by Will. However, Will still ended up liking her. This shows that even if u ARE able to manipulate time so that u can erase whatever that have happened, u still may end up in the same situation even though it may take different routes.
In another show i watched on channel 8 (spoilers alert), "rhythm of life", Junjie (christopher lee) wishes that he could go back in time to save the lives of Zhiling (jessica liu) and Tianbao (Zzen Zhang), and although his wish was granted, Feifei (Dawn Yeoh), Zhiyuan (Elvin Ng) and Xiaorou (Jeanette Aw). Junjie wanted to right his wrongs by going back in time but in fact changed the course of things and perhaps even made the outcome worse.
Sometimes i wish that i can go back in time to change some dubious decisions i have made. I might not end up where i am now, and could have ended up where i wanted to be. But would it be wise? Would i change things for the better or the worse?
As i start on reading my last book by Mitch Albom, "The five people we meet in heaven", i realised that some seemingly minor things that u have done in your life may have a great influence in the lives of other people, which may even result in their deaths (eg how eddie eventually led to the death of the Blue Man), or in some cases, save their lives. Our lives in this world are interwined with the lives of many other people, and please, don't think that whatever decision u made in life for YOURSELF does not affect other people around. It does, either in a small way or change another's way of life drastically. It would be glad to learn at the moment of your death from your loved ones or even total strangers why u were alive in the first place!
D.Gray-man, the anime that i watched every friday 11pm taught me to "protect the people that i treasure", especially those who have accepted u into their lives without despising u for who u are and what u have done. (U may look and behave like a vampire, so what? As long as u r a kind hearted soul with the same goal as I, i will gladly accept u as my friend!)
So bottom line: There is a reason why u end up what u are and where u are in your life now. Turning back the time will not necessarily solve the problems u are having now, but in fact may even give u new problems that u hope u never face. Accept why u are living the way u are and be grateful to those people, esp ur family and friends, for making u the person u are and bringin u this far. Treasure your loved ones and protect them at any cost, without straying from your own beliefs and values. Remember that your life is not just your own, but is interwined with the lives of many other people, so accept others for who they are too, regardless of their race. U never know when u will need their help, as they may actually be the ones that may save u from certain situations or help u solve ur problems in the future. No Man Is An Island. And yeah, i love living and i'm going to enjoy everything i'm doing in my life from now on.
