It's been a long time since i blogged abt myself. It's really been busy since ATEC preparation started. The past week has been outstanding.
On monday, it was the first time i scored on the street soccer court in bedok camp (in fact, i think it's the very first time i've scored on any street soccer court in my entire life!) It gives me the belief that not only can i be a keeper/defender well, i'm able to play the role upfront as a midfielder/striker well. I must thank my soccer buddies (Caron, Chris, Kelvin, Kenneth, Clement, GuanYi, DingJie, WeiMing, JiRong) for playing/training with me. Looks like i've to learn how to dribble better.
Played Cacassone (Hunters and Gatherers) on wednesday and was really lucky to emerge victorious as i drew the winning tile in the last round! Thanks WeiGuang, Terence, WeiMing, Thevandran and GuanYi.
On Saturday, it was also the very first time i won in something -- mahjong! (Normally i either lose abit or no win/loss). Shiu Cheong and I manage to win all the rounds in a round of 4 directions, giving junhong and yeeshiang no chance at all! The first time i won, i won alot=D
I've also learnt alot of new songs since frequenting section 1 to visit wenkai and listened to different mp3s. I'm gonna learn them (少年 by 曹格&光良, 你和我 by 王力宏, 你那么爱他 by 李圣杰&林隆璇, 擦肩而过 by 李圣杰)
Last but not least, i'd like to thank Elton for giving me a birthday present on Tuesday! (Yes, it's a bit late, but he made an effort to buy me a gift! But i'm glad that AT LEAST he remenbered my bdae.) Yea, it's a nice gift and i decided to use it from 2dae onwards. Try finding something new that i bring around with me! Haha. Thanks to Elton again for being extremely observant=)
*On a side note, take care clement, hope u recover well from your 'collision' and dun worry abt the chipped teeth. And take care too, Darren, hope your surgery to enlarge your nostrils will be successful so you dun have to suffer breathing problems at night anymore..and greatest condolences to your grandma who juz passed away.(I've experienced thru that b4, hope your galfren will support u and patch up with u).
