B4 i went to slp, i decided to try my luck giving val a call. She picked up instantly, w/o even a ring. She told me sth, and i was quite sleepy so i didn't hear properly, but i inferred she was saying 'I was typing (a msg to u) juz now, and was abt to send, then u called!' She sounds thrilled. She told me there was no pageant queen yet. She thanked me for the gift. I was quite touched then. We haven't seen or spoken for long, but that short convo was enuf to leave me wif a gd slp and a gd dream. How i yearn to see her!

We woke up early. There were ants of ppl in the holding area for the run, which was the floating platform for the ndp. No wonder i saw so many ppl hanging ard this area the day b4 while searching for DXO. Wonder if val is still here, she cld have seen me? I ran wif my new found buddy, Jason Tang, a cocker. Lamer and cocker? Good match. Lol. We ran and talk cock and bio the whole way, thinking we were running damn fast, only to find out we were so much slower than the rest of the battalion when we reached the 11km pt. We ran the last km 'wayang-ing' by singing songs, cheering, w/o realizing we are one of the last units to reach the finishing line. (OCS, commandos have all finished earlier than us, only 9 div were slower). I saw lotsa ppl i noe on the way, mz,aaron (ong) and bryan (ong) [sispec] b4 reaching the starting line, weekiat (tan) [sispec] while running near the start pt, kendrick [slacker] standing at the water booths, junxiong [air force] aft the finishing pt and weijin [ocs] on the stands. It was fun, and i hadn't got a much deserved excercise since gg 4 bike course. After that we went to msquare to change our clothes (the toilets are all crowded!) and ate at jack's place. While walking ard, i saw choy [sispec] at Carls Jr and Melanie w/ Pareira (aha!) after eating at jack's. Got me, guanyi, jason, weiming, chris, alvin (ong), linus. Qi Tang, aka QT, a guy we got to knew at bike course from signals, bangsei us. aha. Went home and passed by HMV on the way. Saw Vanessa Mae's (my fav violinist!) newest album this year..'Platinum Collection'..but it cost $41++. So ex. I didn't bear to spend that much money juz yet. But i oso didn't bear to lose it to another buyer. Hai. If my bdae is approaching, how appropriate wld this cd be a gift! But it's juz a dream. Looks lyk i wldn't be getting the album anytime soon, coz i expect it to get snapped up by another music enthusiast. Took the same train home as guanyi, weiming and chris, and saw zhanyou at the mrt! Lol. 2dae was like a frenz-gathering in a distorted dimension leh. Something that may happen in a dream, where u have ppl u noe at diff stages of ur lives appearing, juz that it's real instead. Maybe..dreams do come true? Lol.
