-Waking up in Rocky Hill gives me a whole new feeling. Went to the new cookhouse to eat. Not as bad as i tot la. But the nightmare comes afterwards. We were told to bring our field pack with our LBV and helmet squeezed inside...all the way fr Rocky Hill to BMTC1. Alamak! Sibei heavy leh..summor my left arm not totally well yet. Took a tonner back to Gryphon Coy. Supposed to do area cleaning in our bunk, but me and my section mates juz lie down on our beds. We are juz damn tired. Fire drill! Shit..it woke me up from my good rest. Then we drew arms. And then i went for MP interview. No..not member of parliament (how i wish it is), it's military police. Sounds cool rite? Indeed their duties are unique..train dogs, parade, raiding bunks and catch AWOL in civilian tee. Stay out summor!! But the most can only be coporal. and damn low pay. Dunno la..NS ah..one of my frenz told me no need to cheong la..coz u injure urself then bo hua. Had lunch b4 we go GPR (Graduation Parade Rehearsal)...in LBV and helmet!! To me it's laughing stock. It's like seeing ur pet wearing an armor parading! Damn lame lo. But JTB. We got back to Rocky Hill at ard 11 plus after GPR ended, dinner and sending of arms. Damn tired 2dae...but it can't be compared with tml...

-24km route march!! (For me, it's 16km, coz i missed one) This is madness..we are supposed to wear LBV, helmet and bring our field pack packed with Sit Test items. (altogether not less than 10kg). Yes, i have mc..but heck, i won't wanna miss another route march. So..here we go again! Same old march again! Up and down this avenue! 1 more day and we'll be thru! Army songs..=xxxx I waited for an hour (slack, to be exact) after the main group (whole of BMTC Sch 1) marched off. We are supposed to join them at the 8km point..which happens to be at Rocky Hills. Me and a few others doing 16km in my platoon took the chance to take plenty of naps b4 the main grp arrived at Rocky Hills. Then the actual route march is..a torture. We had dinner fr 7-8pm at our field camp site, aka the 12km point. Then we took the same route back to Rocky Hills, this time being the 16 km point. Edmund had instilled high morale and team spirits when he led us in the army songs during the march as well as the water parade. (the songs he used for water parade is damn funny!!) At the 20km point, back at BMTC Sch 1 parade square, where we are going to have our GPR, we all drank a can of H2o each. Tasty. The last 4 km are testing...i almost had cramps and my feet are full of blisters and my throat is sore and dry and i kept coughing lyk a dying old man. But, i held on. It's not easy walking ard the sch not once, but twice during the last 4 km. Kept thinking that i'm finishing soon but am not.

-To hell! We completed the whole route march at 12 midnite. And we still had to RO (Routine Orders), Send arms, and took the tonner back to Rocky Hills. Upon reaching there, it's 0140. Lights out: 0210. Walau!! No time to unpack lor! Juz wash up and slp. Reveille: 0645. Piang! Only 4 hr++ slp. Then we marched lyk zombies to the cookhse to have breakfast. Keep seeing ys there. Sway la..he's in Apache, juz lyk i'm fr Gryphon. Pitiful souls tt have to abandon our homes to this fxcked up place. We slept all the way aft tt to 0830. Then we had to bring our field pack, LBV and helmet (again!) back to sch for GPR. But b4 tt, there was the CO Parade, where he gave his speech and presented awards to some commanders. Then in the afternoon, i fell out immediately after the 1st rehearsal at our sch 1 parade square. Wasn't really tired, but didn't really wanna suffer doing repetitve marches in the sun. For fxck muz we do that!? Damn stupid lo...Like-minded ppl lyk jingguo, perry, roy, royce, jew liang, sherman, yee hui and others all fell out lyk me. Damn smart lo. So we watch them march for GPR the whole afternoon. What's most hectic is after the parade rehearsal. WTH! We rushed back to Rocky Hills via tonner, and with less than half an hr to book out, we have to pack all our stuff into the gaffer bag (including our field pack) and pull the 10++kg gaffer bags down the staircase and up the tonner. What's even worse is my whole platoon had to squeeze into one tonner only! 40++ ppl squeezing into a truck with a capacity of 35..summor with our gaffer bags. We spent lotsa time loading the gaffer bags and ourselves into the tonner, and it became a mobile jukebox when all of us, who were more like bengali squeezing onto a small truck, started singing army songs in it. Gryphon Coy...Gryphon Coy...we are from Gryphon Compan-y-y-y! Finally got to book out at 9pm++ and reached home at 10++ Damn shag......
