2dae is a fun day..
Went CMPB to do med chkup..tot it was torturous..but turned out to be quite fun!
Met wif jiexiang and his mayflower fren teck hao..teck hao looks abit like teck wang thou..lol=p
We joked a lot thruout the chkup..
went for the urine test 1st..jx tot tt the ns doc damn fierce..coz he kept sayin..'1 bottle 1 strip, instructions in the toilet'..but many ppl kept missing out wat he said and kept repeatin till he seemed pissed off..den some stood too near while lettin him see the wet strip..and he kept sayin..'stand 4 tiles away'..lol
another guy didn't even let him see the strip and juz threw in2 the bin..his look of panic caused me,teo(jx)and tan to laugh our heads off!
then the blood test..one on the finger to chk blood type, the other on the arm to chk genetically inherited disease..the ns doc chkin the latter is funny..1st he called my name wrongly..'Toh Lin Ru'..and i had to correct him..then he tried to crack some lame jokes...sth like 'i touch u but cnt kiss u coz i am a guy'...'''
when itz my turn, he told me he 'bo hei' coz every grp muz sae the same thing and he asked why the rest not respondin..i'm gigglin inside coz his expression damn funny!
ltr i went for the dental chkup..tt doc seems very bored and keep askin me qns..1st he asked me to guess the age of a gal on the newspaper..i said '25' and he told his colleague..'See, i told u she looked older than her age..she's only 21!'......'''
What a coincidence! me and jx met bala for dunno how many umpteen times! he was there for ns med chkup too! and we din even told him we were there! lol..he came wif his s13 frenz and somehow we had fun tokin to one another..
went for the x-ray chkup..muz strip off shirt to x-ray chest.but wait so long coz so many ppl..feel lyk slpin le lor..
the optical and ENS(ear) chkup was fast..ENS is quite fun coz we muz raise left or rite hand after hearing some monotone sounds fr either ear in a rm..fr outside the rm..we cn see the person looks lyk clown raising the hands lor..haha
Finally,went to take ht and wt and measure ECG..muz strip off shirt and shoes and everything except for pants..and underwear..
Feel lyk i'm dancing 'soar' in aristal again lah! half-naked birds..lol..
final health chkup is a series of qns by this ns doc..
the 1st qn he asked is..'1 stick 2 balls nth missin rite?' i almost laughed my head off! den he asked me to stand up..and i tot he's gonna chk our balls..but cheh..he juz measure our heartbeat wif a stethoscope..(when i heard they INDEED chk the balls in the other tm..i was tinkin to myself..SO HENG LAH!'
he oso asked me abt my once fractured arm and asked me how long ago it happened and how many pull ups i cn do..when i said 10/11..he was quite surprised..hey..u mean ppl hu fractured their arms b4 cnt do pull ups meh..dun look down on me k? lol..
Went to had lunch b4 comin back for the vocational test..Itz damn long and tiring lah..but some parts are fun to play..like the one testin ur rxn..ask u to hit a number 3 times..muz hit damn fast lor..guess i was lucky coz i played comp. games..
oso included are shape and no. sequence, arithmetic and algebra,language,physics,identification of letters/numbers,visualization blah blah..
The visualization test is the most diff and i tink i flopped it coz nv read instructions properly..nvm lah..tikam tikam lor
After finishin the test, i tok to tan coz teo still doin test..he told me abt his ODAC trip to Mt XxxxxX in indonesia..they reached the summit in 3 days man..so cool...but they also heard abt a casualty fr another grp hu felled off the narrow mountain summit trying to take pics..he was found at the foot of the mountain wif his camera smashed beside him..so sad lah..haiz~
aft tt we went to eat kfc coz tan said he wanted to gain weight(he was assigned to pes b coz he's too light! teo oso pes b coz of minor allergy..and when i asked him y he wana tell doc, he said if he sneezed during combat, he'd give his locations away lor...''')
den i found out a funny thing..my hp got a service which shows the location i'm at! So scary lah..Fr. anchor pt to queensway sc to queenstown blk 13x! so specific! and teo and tan started callin me 'the omen'...lol!
but ther service disappeared when we reached orchard..guess wat..we played pool!!!
i made umpteen taiko shots and skillful shots which help me to lead 3-0 in an hr..but i'm so not complacent..still wanna play wif them..and after another hr..i was beaten 3-4 by teo and tan..but being able to win 3 matches in a row in a handicap match..ah..tt was sth..i'm satisfied wif my results!
Well..hope our unlikely league of NJ,AJ,HCI can meet up again nxt time..preferably playin pool!!=)
